Introducing The Breaking Defense Space Survey: We Want Your Feedback

To say the Pentagon is focused on space these days is the same as saying the sun is hot – it's obvious.

But while high level leadership is touting the ongoing investments and development of military space, we at Breaking Defense want to know what the decision makers – those involved in the day to day issues – really think.

To that end, today marks the launch of the first-ever Breaking Defense Space Survey. Our goal here is to hear directly from stakeholders about what is going right and what is going wrong as America develops its future space strategy. We want to hear from program managers, industry leaders, experts in the field, from foreign officials who deal with the US, from the uniformed members of all branches who drive day to day operations – which is to say, the people who get things done.

The survey – which, we stress, is anonymous and does not capture any personal information – will be used to present a clearer, honest picture of what's really going on and where improvements are needed.

Once we've collected the data, we'll present the findings to the public, which we hope will spark a real, direct conversation about the future of American military space.
